Rice is the staple food of India. The country’s hot and humid climate, prolonged sunshine, and fertile soil are perfect conditions for rice cultivation. India is the second-largest producer and consumer of rice within the world.
“Fortified
rice can provide 30-50% of the recommended dietary allowance of iron that
adults got to consume daily, supported average Indian consumption,” said

is one among the organisations partnering with the govt to implement a pilot
program distributing.
In India, an increasing number of two-wheeler accidents have compelled the govt. to use of helmets compulsory. During last year 43,600 out of 56,000 two-wheeler riders were killed for not wearing the helmets.
"Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has issued a draft notification for bringing Protective Helmets for two-wheelers rider under compulsory certification as per Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016". Helmets in India will come under compulsory BIS certification and publication of Quality Control Order (QCO).
